About Chipangali Wildlife Orphanage

Chipangali is an African word from the Chinyanja language of eastern Zambia, meaning ‘open friendly place’.

The wildlife Orphanage was established by Vivian and Paddy Wilson in 1973, and its primary function is to offer a home to orphaned, abandoned and sick wild animals.
