About Bulawayo Agricultural SocietyThe BAS was set up to promote agricultural shows as a teaching/learning platform for all. We showcase all forms of livestock (cattle, sheep and goats, pigs poultry and horse), crop produce (inclusive of maize, small grains and cereals as well as fruit and vegetables) for the communal farmer, home industries (incorporating needlework, knitting, crochet, cookery, icing, brewing, home-craft and artwork) and school projects (cookery, needlework, home craft) for juniors. All prize lists for these sections are available from the office from January every year. Our show is held concurrently with the annual Zimbabwe International Trade Fir.
Our arenas are also utilised as venues for weddings.
